Locally produced everyday apparel for everyone and anyone
Llocals is a Utrecht-based streetwear brand that wants to do things differently. Streetwear is big, but almost none of the big brands pay a lot of attention to sustainability.
And that is why Chiem started Llocals in the summer of 2019 (and maybe also to fulfill his lifelong dream). Llocals produces all its sustainable apparel in collaboration with local craftsman (could you have guessed) to ensure that these don’t go out of work. Besides, they only use recycled or sustainable fabrics for the production of their clothes, because the environment is just as important as looking good!
And for all your Utrecht-habitants, Chiem delivers the orders by bike so this is your chance to meet the founder! Llocals products are timeless, unisex and made to last. Oh, almost forgot, they look pretty nice as well! Want to find out more about Llocals? Click the icons or read more here (click me!).

PLATFRM's principles: 5/8
Llocals uses GOTS-certified organic cotton for the production of their garments. The labels are made from recycled polyester.
Llocals ships completely plastic free, making use of cardboard boxes which are fully recycable and compostable. Orders that are placed in Utrecht even get delivered by Chiem (or one of his friends) himself.
Llocals collaborates with local sewers and entrepreneuers to finish their products. The labels are handstitched by a former refugee in Amsterdam while the imprinting is done with environmentally friendly ink in Utrecht.
Llocals garments are produced by Stanley / Stella, a company well known for its activism against underpayment and social humiliation.
Llocals was founded in 2019 and is trying to make a name for itself by being among the first sustainable streetwear options
